N. Schiller, MD

Dr. Heba Schiller is a board-certified General Surgeon with a specialization in advanced gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery. She did her undergraduate B.S. at the University of Arkansas on a full Honors College scholarship then received an endowed scholarship to attend the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed her Medical Degree in 2013. She did her surgical internship at University of Florida Shands Hospital and her General Surgery Residency at Florida Atlantic University. She did a Trauma Research Fellowship specializing in Pediatric Trauma research at the Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Schiller had multiple national presentations and peer reviewed publications. She completed her Minimally Invasive Advanced GI and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston.

Dr. Schiller specializes in upper gastrointestinal surgery including bariatric (weight loss) surgery, hiatal (diaphragm) hernias, anti-reflux surgery, and upper endoscopy. She also does surgeries of the gallbladder, appendix, colon, small bowel, abdominal wall hernias, and more.

Dr. Schiller holds multiple academic appointments at local hospitals. She enjoys teaching and is actively involved in teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Schiller loves being a mentor to the next generation of women surgeons.
